another cold turkey session
had another cold turkey session, figuratively speaking.. instead of waxing and suffering the pain every time, have decided to take it all off permanently by IPL..first the salon gal slathered some very cold lotion on the spot, think to numb the area as well as to lessen the heat.. then she kind of used some kind of the nozzle to beam the area section by section.. the feeling was like getting bitten by red ants.. but she could tone down the sensation if you find it too painful..
a bit weird lying there with the legs spread.. esp when she needed to do the bum area.. but thankfully, it lasted for less than 15 mins.. much less time needed as compared to waxing.. but according to the gal, it will take about 20 days for the fur to fall off.. as hair follicles renew themselves every 28 days.. so hence, i have not seen the effect so far.. it's better work, as i'm going to pay quite a bit for this procedure..
