Accidental tragedy
Saw a horrific accident near my place this afternoon. The body passed by my side of the bus and I could see the blood and a pair of white Nikes that he was wearing that was not covered by the white cloth. Not sure how it happened, but I expect I should read about it in the papers soon enough. My dad who was travelling in the same bus but in the opposite direction, saw the body before it was covered, that he was a young Chinese man.Found myself thinking what was his reaction when he knew he was going down and what his last thought were when he knew he couldn't make it. Was he thinking of his parents, his wife or the children he may have left behind.
Poor man. I hope the other motorcylists who saw the accident will realise that they have to be more careful when riding, and the car drivers who saw it, realise they do have to be more considerate because motorcylists are so much more vulnerable in accidents. How can they survive when crashing with the likes of cars, buses or trucks?
As my bus travelled away from the scene, I sent a prayer for him....
