Iguanaritas

Headed out of office ard 4pm today. went to china square first yakun outlet for our kaya toast and teh/kopi. trying to identify the star pictures.. we spent a few minutes speculating the identity of some of them.. so i suggested we asked the staff there, excuse to talk to a pretty cute guy there. hehe! but no one wanted to..

then made our way to people's park centre as we wanted to look at the crystal beads to make our own watches. YH supposed to join us after she has gone home to put her stuff.. but by the time she made her way down, was already 6pm.

meanwhile, shuen is going to attend a party with her netball mates. theme of the party: Back to school. we went with her to this uniform shop on the 3rd floor to buy an oversized uniform for her. cant remember which school. but the auntie there didnt blink an eye when shuen shippishly said it was for her, although many parents were looking strangly at her.. thinking i never have occasion to attend this kind of party, will def by great fun!! never did enjoy my school days so hoping it's not too late to dress up as one and enjoy it now.. .

reservation at iguana cafe was at 6.30pm. almost time we had to rush there. pple there v 'dao' and attitude, could only hold table for us for 15mins and reminded us not to be late.. but quite enjoyed the food and drinks there.. the fujitas and margaritas of course.. loved the grilled prawns there, cant rem the authentic mexican name, but u wrap it up with sour cream, salsa sauce or avocado sauce on a popiah skin and eat it.. slurp! then another ready-made popiah thingy with the cheese and mushrooms inside, just scrumptious...

didnt order as many jars this time as last.. felt that it's really the adult version of IC Cool. u know, the icy drink for our childhood with the pink panther-like creature? or is it bear??

after iguana, headed to MOS.. not to go in though, the queue was horrendous.. main entrance is at the carpark entrance next building, remarking it's a strange place for an exit.. shuen's frens had planned to queue and go in, in fact, we would have gone in too, but were too tired.. but just to get the rush, we went to look from outside lah.. even the re-entry queue is slow and long..

tried to find location of Attica where so many angmohs hang out (including him and his team) but still cannot find..

we ended up at TCC, where the gals had a couple of very nice tiramisus, we now know what is a ground cherry and how it tastes like. plus some beverages.. since i'm a bit sick of sweet stuff and cant drink coffee at nite, opted for a glass of house white chardonnay.. turned out it was pretty good too..

guy next table was eyeing me as i eyed him.. hee!
